What we collect
- Through the intake form: your name, age, child’s age, brief description of concerns, profession, city, session preference, family type, optional medical/developmental documents, phone, email.
- Through email: what you send us in correspondence.
- Automatically (analytics): anonymised page-visit data via Google Analytics 4, with IP anonymisation enabled. No identifying personal data is collected through analytics.
What we don’t collect online
- Detailed medical histories — these are discussed in person, not stored on the website.
- Therapy session notes — these live in a separate, secure system, not on this website.
- Children’s identifying information without explicit guardian consent.
Why we collect it
- To review your enquiry and respond.
- To deliver therapy services if you become a client.
- To improve the website in aggregate (analytics).
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with marketing platforms. We do not run retargeting ads.
Where the data lives
Form submissions are processed in WordPress (hosted in India) and emailed to Prachi. Submissions are deleted from the WordPress database within 90 days. If you become a client, your contact details move to Stapoo’s secure clinical system. Newsletter subscriber emails are stored in FluentCRM, on the same Indian infrastructure.
What you can ask us to do
- See what we hold about you.
- Correct anything that’s wrong.
- Change your mind and have it deleted.
- Ask us to delete it.
- And, if we don’t sort it out, raise it with the Data Protection Board of India.
To ask for any of these, write to prachi@stapoo.in with the subject “Data request.” We’ll reply within 15 days.
Children’s data
- We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from a child under 18.
- All child-related information must come through a parent or guardian.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies — for the WordPress session, for analytics (anonymised), and for the WhatsApp widget. You can decline non-essential cookies on first visit. We do not use marketing cookies.
